Air ventilation ducting and A/C hoses are designed to transfer air at low pressure.  Some of the above air handling ducting are designed for chemical resistant applications (Bendaway Plus) or high temperature air transfer, or applications where the hose is in a high temperature environment, like auto fresh air intake hose.(Bendaway Plus or the GN).  If a flexible duct is a priority, then the XLT hose, offers excellent flexibility, chemical resistance and compliance to temperature up to 275 F.
If your needs are for a highly flexible hose, which can be transported easily, our FSP-V or SD-W offer a 10 to 1 compression ratio.  In other words, these accordion-like hoses which are available in 25 ft. lengths, can easily be compressed to a 2.5 ft. length for easy storage.  External wear-strips are available on the latter hoses, which will reduce damage to the duct, even if abrasion is expected from the exterior of the wall (e.g. if it is being dragged around.)  The latter ducting are perfect hoses for portable AC units, chillers, or swamp coolers and are available in sizes from 4" ID up to 48" in diameter.  The Arctic Duct III is an insulated version of the FSP-V.
