Aerospace specific flexible ducting is generally made for high temperature applications. The above hoses, are designed to carry heated air at low pressures. The GN duct has a narrow pitch which allows for a tight bending radius while maintaining smooth airflow. This double-ply neoprene coated woven fiberglass fabric will handle temperatures up to 300F. The Flex-Vest consists of 3 layers. The inner layer is double-ply silicone coated woven fiberglass fabric hose with a spring steel wire helix. The outer layer is single-ply neoprene impregnated polyester fabric hose reinforced with a spring steel wire helix. The Raceflex, which is a very flexible duct hose, is constructed of a lightweight laminate of fiberglass and vacuum metallized polyester film which is heat reflective and designed to safely handle extremely high temperatures. Although not shown, we do offer stainless and silicone fiberglass flexible ducting which could handle extreme temperatures.
