Agricultural hoses are essentially material handling in nature. Designed to transfer bulk products and material, the above flex ducting are built to withstand the harsh environment of farms as well as the no nonsense requirements of the farming industry. The Flx-thane series are our top of the line material handling hoses/ducting, which combine excellent flexibility with superior abrasion resistance. The wall thickness of this line varies from .020" to .054" and as one goes up the gradient in gauge, the hose does loose some flexibility. The medium duty (Flx-Thane MD) version of this hose combines the best of both flexibility with excellent wear life. For applications where a clear flex duct is required either the Flx-Thane (Flx-Thane MD) or the R series (R-2 or R-3) could be used. The R series offer a smooth interior which reduces the possibility of clogs, if the grains have fine particles which would otherwise build up in corrugated hoses. One of our most popular line is our T series Santoprene hoses (LT, T-7, HT) which offer excellent ozone , UV rays, & chemical resistance with that of low cost. Rubber ducting, such as the T-7, is a great cost effective hose for applications in which the duct is not subject to continuous flexing. If your needs are for a completely non-metallic hose, the CWS-PR duct has a polyethylene wire helix rather than the standard stainless steel wire helix.
