High Temperature flexible ducting made for Refractory, Furnace and other Refining Applications, Aluminum Refractory ducting products are appropriate for a broad range of industrial applications. Used in aluminum, steel and glass manufacturing, these hoses offer temperature ratings up to 550 degrees Fahrenheit, allowing them to withstand the effects of severe heat and high temp media transfer conditions.
These flexible hoses also come in varying levels of flexibility and abrasion resistance. Hoses such as the Flx-Thane LD and the R-3 combine tight bending characteristics with superb abrasion resistance.
Rubber-coated hoses provide superior flexibility and high levels of abrasion resistance such as the CWC which consists of a polyester fabric coated with two plies of neoprene rubber. The CWGP is a lighter-duty variation of the CWC. While still offering two plies of neoprene coated fabric, the CWGP uses a lightweight polyester fabric for added flexibility. Both hoses are listed as UL 94 V-0 flame retardant.
For high temperature applications, the Flex-Vest offers 1" thick fiberglass insulation wrapped around a two-ply silicone hose. This insulation minimizes heat loss, allowing the media to maintain consistent high or low temperatures.
