Bus manufacturing ducting consists of lightweight, highly flexible ducting products, primarily designed for air and light material transfer. Made from either polyethylene or neoprene-dipped polyester, these hoses provide tight bending radii.
Polyethylene hoses (i.e. DPZ. GPE, Uni-Loop) are offered in smaller inside diameter (I.D.) sizes, down to 1" I.D. These ducting products also have smooth interior surfaces, providing efficient flow and minimum pressure loss. Each hose in this material is also crush resistant.
In addition to the neoprene-coated polyester hoses, this category also includes two other varieties of rubber hoses. The GN is a neoprene-coated fiberglass hose, offering a higher temperature range while still maintaining tight bending characteristics. The narrow pitch of the wire helix allows the hose to maintain smooth airflow even when bent at significant angles. The LT is a medium weight Santoprene hose. Since this hose is made entirely from rubber, it provides superior chemical resistance to reinforced fabric hoses, as well as improved resistance to UV and ozone for outdoor applications.
