Dust collection hose and duct-hoses that are produced for woodworking dust, which can actually collect mostly wood chips and particles. Collecting the hazardous wood dust at the source limits possible health hazards.
These heavy duty material handling hoses offer superior abrasion resistance in woodworking applications, where consistent abrasion from waste wood particles is anticipated. These particles tend to wear through ducting materials quickly, so hoses made from polyurethane, heavyweight PVC, elastomer-dipped fabric or stainless steel provide the best service life in this application.
The Flx-Thane series of polyurethane ducting hose offers a high degree of flexibility and abrasion resistance in material handling applications.
The R series of PVC ducts provide lightweight, flexible solutions for material transfer. While these are lighter-duty hoses than the Flx-Thanes, they offer a viable solution for cost conscious applications.
