Lawn & leaf collection flexible ducting products are designed to convey waste materials from lawnmower, leaf suction and other lawn-care appliances. These heavy-duty material handling hoses offer highly abrasion-resistant material composition without sacrificing a high degree of flexibility. These hoses are made from various materials: PVC, Santoprene, polyurethane, and fabric dipped in an elastomer.
The R-3 is a heavy duty blue PVC hose. The wall thickness is .050" up to 4" inside diameter (ID), .057" up to 8" ID, and .075" up to 16" ID. The superior wall thickness of this product provides exceptional resistance to both internal and external abrasion, while the smooth inner surface minimizes friction loss and assures efficient flow characteristics.
The T-7 is a medium weight Santoprene wall hose with an external wearstrip. The wall thickness for this hose is .035". This hose provides both internal abrasion resistance (due to its material composition) and external abrasion resistance (reinforced with a yellow wearstrip). The T-7 maintains its flexibility and compressiblity through a wide temperature range. This medium weight polyurethane hose offers the maximum combination of flexibility and abrasion resistance. The .035" thick polyurethane is cut, gouge, and chemical resistant.
The Flex-Thane MD series of hoses is also available in a thicker version (Flex-Thane HD) for especially heavy-duty material handling applications. This medium weight neoprene-dipped polyester hose provides excellent crush resistance and tensile strength. The neoprene rubber coating offers superb abrasion and chemical resistance, as well as a broad temperature range. This hose is also available with additional layers of neoprene or nitrile rubbers, for additional abrasion or chemical resistance.
