Hoses made for and recommended for Peat Moss Vacuum. Peat moss, which is used for heating and producing fine scotch, requires hoses suitable for partial wet vacuuming applications.
For this use, light duty material handling hoses are most suitable. Since these hoses provide a blend of flexibility and abrasion strength, they provide the longest service life in this application.
Polyethylene hoses (i.e. Commercial) are specifically designed for both wet and dry vacuum applications. Therefore, these hoses perform well in environments where both characteristics are necessary.
Polyurethane hoses (i.e. Flx-Thane LD and Flx-Thane MD) are highly flexible, extremely durable ducting products used in a broad array of material handling applications. Both hoses are offered in clear, which allows any clogs to be quickly diagnosed and remedied.
