Hoses made for and recommended for Plastic Industry applications.  Used for material handling in transferring raw plastic pellets or for temperature resistance in drying applications.
The majority of ducting products designed for this application provide resistance to high temperatures (from 300 F to 550 F).  Acrylic and silicone coated hoses (i.e. CW-325 and GS) maintain integrity in high temperature environments.  Therefore, these ducts are ideal for heated air transfer applications, such as industrial plastic drying.
For raw material transfer applications, highly abrasion resistant hoses (i.e. CWC and Flx-Thane MD) provide maximum service life.  The construction of these hoses is intended to combine flexibility with high levels of abrasion resistance.  The CWC is a polyester fabric hose (for flexibility) dipped in neoprene rubber (for abrasion resistance).  The Flx-Thane MD is made from polyurethane, which naturally provides high levels of both abrasion resistance and flexibility.
