Because woodworking applications anticipate constant exposure to highly abrasive woodworking dust and wood chips, hoses for this application must offer superior durability in abrasion resistant uses. These heavy-duty hoses, made from neoprene-dipped polyester, Santoprene or polyurethane, provide superior service life in such environments.
Neoprene-dipped hoses (i.e. CWC and CWGP) combine high levels of flexibility with excellent resistance to internal and external abrasion.
Santoprene hoses (i.e. HT and T-7) are made entirely from rubber (excepting the reinforcing wire). This process makes this line of ducting products more durable in abrasion resistant material handling applications.
Polyurethane ducting (i.e. Flx-Thane MD) provides exceptional flexibility and abrasion resistance, due to the natural characteristics of the polyurethane film material.
