The "PE Flex Full-Vac" flexible hose is recommended for light bulk material handling applications and is ideally suited for the removal of fluids and waste materials. The discharge hose is made using a rugged yellow polyethylene wall hose. Each hose is then reinforced with an integral polyethylene helix designed to handle abrasive materials. All flexible ducts are constructed with a crush resistant spiral helix to additional strength and flexibility. The "PE Flex Full-Vac" hose is available with internal diameter of 1.5, 2, 3 and 4 inches. All sizes are equipped to handle a full vacuum. A full vacuum pressure is the pressure measured relative to ambient atmosphere pressure. Atmosphere is 0 PSIV, full vacuum is about 14.7 PSIV, the typical absolute pressure range for measuring vacuum pressures is 0 to 1 bar (29.5 hg) absolute.
