This ducting option is recommended for industrial air movement, fume control and duct cleaning equipment applications. This flex hose provides the user with great compressibility while also maintaining excellent flexibility with tight bending characteristics. This product is also good for applications with positive pressure requirements. This hose is specifically made for air duct cleaning equipment applications. With a 9 to 1 compression ratio this hose offers the unique ability for a 25 ft length to collapse down to 3 ft. This allows the operator to easily store the ventilation ducts when they are not in use.
The “PVC Flexduct ADC” flexible duct has a working temperature range from -20 to +160 degrees Fahrenheit. This enables the user to use the flexible duct in environments where temperatures are slightly above ambient. This flex hose offers excellent flexibility and tight bending characteristics while providing resistance to weathering, chemicals and moisture. Since the main chain of a PVC polymer is made by single bonds of carbon atoms, PVC has excellent chemical resistance.
The “PVC Flexduct ADC” lightweight flexible duct is available in internal diameter sizes ranging from 4 to 18 inch. The vast number of ID sizes and the cost effective nature of this air hose allows for operators to purchase multiple sizes with small investment. The ID refers to a straight line passing from side to side through the center of the mouth of the air hose. These flexible ventilation ducts are available in a clear color in standard 25-foot sections with a plain cut end finish. The hose can be ordered in custom lengths up to 50 feet.
